Cherry group has been in existence since 1999 in the United Arab Emirates in providing engineering solutions in every discipline of engineering, in design, construction, management, facilities management, building maintenance, Re-engineering, project delivery, procurement process and engineering consultancy.
Cherry became a reality in 1991, when it came into existence in the form of "Samy and Raj Constructions" to venture into the real estates in the city of Bangalore India in the year 1989.
After going through various phases of transformation due to economical and political motivations, the name was changed to "Cherry Inc" with registered office in Bangalore India, in the year 1994.

The Project was managed from Inception to conception, working for Jacob Bros construction, for the Ministry of Highways and Transportation of British Columbia. The challenge here was the number of stakeholders who had mixed interests in this project. This project was executed successfully.

Revitalization and Re-engineering of the Storm water lines for the City of Quesnel BC
The project was managed from inception to conception, executed and delivered to the City of Quesnel in record time, working for Jacob Brothers Construction. The challenge here was the number of stakeholders specially at the heart of the business District of Quesnel and ensured smooth transition without any disturbance to the businesses. The project was completed successfully.

Sangster International Airport-Rehabilitation, Montego Bay, Jamaica
The project was lead from its inception both engineering wise and management wise, working as an independent Contractor for the YVR Airport Services (Vantage Airport). The challenge was the frequent travel from Vancouver to Montego Bay Jamaica on a regular basis. The design consultants were INECO, Madrid, Spain.

Morrison Dam Rehabilitation, Coronach, Saskatchewan
The project was lead from inception to conception both engineering wise and management wise, working as an out of scope employee for SaskPower from Regina, Saskatchewan. The challenge here was the multiple stakeholders including the US Government to discuss and collaborate our approach to phase the construction work and the sharing of the water between Canada and USA, plus ensuring the Poplar River Power Station is in operation.

Island Falls –Hydro Power Station, Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan
The project was lead from inception to conception both engineering wise and management wise working as an out of scope employee for SaskPower from Regina, Saskatchewan. The challenge here was to address all the concrete deterioration problem in phases and to cause minimum operational disturbance and ensuring the employment of the local First Nations Community of Sandy Bay.

WhiteSand Dam –Regulates the flow of water for the Island Falls Hydro Power Station, SouthEnd, Saskatchewan
The project was lead from inception to conception both engineering wise and management wise working as an out of scope employee for SaskPower from Regina, Saskatchewan. The challenge here was the accessibility to the site location, the multiple stakeholders ranging from the Ministry of Environment, working underwater and operating the North Dam which was closed for more than twenty plus years. The other challenges were setting up the barge, accessing the site using float plane, sometimes fitted with ski blades and the annual Forest Fires.

Construction of Ash Lagoon-To manage the fluid ash holistically-Coronach, Saskatchewan
The project was lead from inception to conception –multi-discipline engineering wise and management wise working as an out of scope employee for SaskPower-The challenge here, was the human personnel understanding the magnitude of safety that was to be considered in the most economical and effective way in ensuring the connection of the ash lagoon to the existing closed loop system.

The Procurement and Installation of the Mechanical Evaporators at Boundary Dam Power Station-Estevan, Saskatchewan.
The challenge to procure a patented product which has a capacity of reducing almost two million cubic meters of water over a period of three years and preventing any kind of spillage of the ash water into the neighbouring Boundary Dam which feeds the City of Estevan. This project was lead from inception to conception-multi-discipline engineering wise and management-wise, working as an out of scope employee for SaskPower.

The upgrade of Industrial Elevators and replacing the Man-lifts-at Coronach and Estevan, Saskatchewan
The project was revitalized from the tomb and ensured the project success with the benefits highlighted to the end user keeping in view the overall life of these Plants. The challenge here was that of integrating a modern industrial elevator in a stairwell installed thirty years earlier and considering the safety hazards working inside the Plant. The project was lead both engineering wise and management wise in Agile methodology practiced as a team and working as an out of scope employee of SaskPower.

The project was lead both engineering wise and management wise working as an out of scope employee of SaskPower. The biggest challenge here was the mindset of personnel to execute this kind of project and overcoming those challenges itself was a mini project. The challenge of handling multiple stakeholders both the government and the private ones were huge.
